Building upon its predecessor’s acclaimed gameplay, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor introduces new Force powers and lightsaber varieties.

The game titled “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” received generally favorable feedback upon its debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles in 2023, despite some technical glitches that needed to be addressed with updates for the PC version. Camilo suggests that this isn’t a fresh title, but instead, it is a Nintendo Switch 2 adaptation of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. It remains uncertain whether this adaptation will be available at the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 or released at a later stage, with some speculating that it might emerge as early as 2026 or even later.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Could Be Coming to Switch 2

On January 16, many long-held questions about the Nintendo Switch 2 were finally put to rest as the console was officially unveiled, revealing its name and confirming earlier speculations that it would share a design with the initial Switch. During this much-anticipated announcement, Nintendo made clear that the Switch 2 will be capable of playing games from the original Switch library, though some games might encounter technical difficulties due to the new hardware. At least one upcoming game for the Switch 2 was confirmed: a new version of Mario Kart.

As a gamer, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available on my old Nintendo Switch. It’s still unclear whether this game will be ported to both existing Switch consoles or just the newly announced Switch 2.
