However, after seeing some early previews, my excitement has begun to wane.

Some players were let down by Bethesda’s space game due to restricted movement, but they’re optimistic that the upcoming journey with rogue character Kay Vess will offer an exceptional escape into the cosmos.

Star Wars Outlaws’ Visuals Are Disappointing Fans After Preview

IGN has shared a 10-minute long sneak peek at a new mission for Outlaws, which takes place on the well-known planet Tatooine. This challenging mission involves guiding Kay through Jawa territories and a dangerous Sarlacc pit (famous for Boba Fett’s encounter). The mission combines intense combat sequences, stealth elements, and thrilling speeder rides.

Several elements from the mission proved impressive, including the environmental design as Kay infiltrated a bandit camp and the pit using several objects to her advantage. Speeder chases will be on the cards to feel integrated with the universe when another character steals something of value, and the aid Kay receives from her companion creature Nix in combat is sure to be a real crowd pleasure.

Critics on social media expressed their dissatisfaction with the game’s graphics, setting, and character movement after viewing the preview. One user lamented, “The graphics seem old-fashioned. The environment looks barren. I was looking forward to this title, but it seems I’ll have to pass again.” In response, gaming expert Shinobi602 explained, “It’s important to note that the environment in this clip appears empty due to the fact that the characters are rolling through Tatooine’s desert.”
