Star Wars Zero Company Brings Tactical Turn-Based Action To The Franchise
The “Star Wars Zero Company” is a solo strategy game featuring turns, developed jointly by Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games.
The game “Zero Company” is scheduled for a 2026 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In this game, players step into the role of Hawks, a previous officer from the Republic, leading an exceptional team of tactical operatives through a genuine and gritty narrative set at the end of the Clone Wars. This diverse group of mercenaries from all corners of the galaxy must put aside their conflicts to face insurmountable challenges and combat an imminent threat that could engulf the entire galaxy if left unaddressed.
In the unveiling video, a brief snippet showcasing gameplay is included, reminiscent of the XCOM series. This resemblance isn’t unexpected, as Bit Reactor is made up of ex-developers from Firaxis.
In this strategic game set in space, players will embark on a series of tactical missions and investigations throughout the galaxy. During downtime between missions, players can build and manage their base for operations and collect information from informants to stay one step ahead of Zero Company’s adversaries. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your own team of recruited operators, featuring freshly written characters from the Star Wars universe.
According to Greg Foertsch, the CEO and Creative Director at Bit Reactor, he revealed some insights about the upcoming game titled “Star Wars Zero Company”. The team’s concept for this game is built upon key design principles that seamlessly blend immersive Star Wars universe elements with captivating turn-based strategy gameplay. They strive to create a unique Star Wars story set during the Clone Wars period, where player decisions have significant consequences, and the combat is deep, strategic, yet easy to grasp, featuring cinematic visuals.
According to EA, more information about the game has been revealed, indicating that players can customize both the look and fighting style of the Hawk character, as well as choose from various unique Star Wars character types and races when recruiting operatives.
Players can customize the looks, equipment, and skills for their squad members, spanning numerous character types such as Clone Troopers, Jedi, and additional options.
The game titled Star Wars Zero Company doesn’t have a specific launch date beyond the year 2026. However, it has been officially announced that it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. We can expect to receive more updates about this game in the upcoming months.
If you’re yearning for a Star Wars adventure at the moment, a fresh demo for a new Star Wars game became available yesterday without much fanfare.
