Stardew Valley is a remarkable achievement, created entirely by one person, Eric Barone, who goes by the name ConcernedApe. It’s incredible that a single developer could build such a large and enduring game, especially considering they’ve already reached a point where they could stop working on it. Yet, despite that, Stardew Valley continues to improve and thrive.

Stardew Valley 1.7 Update Includes ‘More Social Stuff’
The popular 2017 life simulation game is getting ready for its 1.7 update. While the developer, ConcernedApe, hasn’t announced a specific release date, they did offer a small preview when asked about what players can expect.
We’re planning to expand on the characters and social elements of the game, and we’ll also be introducing a new type of farm, as is customary. There’s a lot more in the works, but we’re keeping most of it under wraps for now.
This means we’ll have to wait a bit longer to learn more about the 1.7 update, and it likely won’t be released for a while. It’s especially remarkable considering the developer is also creating a completely new game, Haunted Chocolatier, at the same time.
There’s a lot of discussion about whether the recent Stardew Valley 1.7 update will be the last big one. The announcement of 1.7 surprised many, and people are wondering if future updates will follow the same pattern.
