Stardew Valley: How To Get & Use The Crystalarium

Stardew Valley may look like an ordinary farming simulation game, but it offers a wealth of activities beyond cultivating crops and tending to animals. The primary goal is not only to make your farm prosperous, but also to maximize profits by farming various valuable items such as gemstones. These gleaming rocks serve multiple purposes – they’re both aesthetically pleasing and valuable, making them perfect for crafting or gifting.

Indeed, digging through mines daily in search of the most elusive gemstones may become more hassle than reward. However, with the introduction of a handy device, the struggle is significantly eased. This marvelous gadget allows players to multiply a single gemstone or mineral, resulting in dozens, even hundreds of replicas. Let me show you how Stardew Valley enthusiasts can utilize its power.

Digging for rare gemstones in mines daily can be more trouble than it’s worth. But with this helpful tool, players can multiply a single gemstone or mineral to create many more. Here’s a guide on how Stardew Valley gamers can use it effectively.

Obtaining A Crystalarium

To acquire the Crystalarium crafting blueprint, players need to enhance their Mining proficiency to Level 9. The components necessary for creating one of these objects are as follows:

  • 99 : This material is easy to find; simply break rocks around the farm or in the Mines using the Pickaxe.
  • 5 : Gold Ore can be mined at Level 80 and below in the mines, using the Pickaxe. Use 1 Coal to forge 5 Gold Ore into a Gold Bar at a Furnace.
  • 2 : Iridium can be mined in Skull Cavern, or obtained daily from the Statue of Perfection. See above for how to forge ore into bars.
  • 1 : To get these crafting items, leave lightning rods outside in a thunderstorm. When hit, they’ll charge up battery packs for players to collect.

There are still several options available for players to acquire this valuable item even if they don’t have the recipe or the expensive, hard-to-find resources.

  • Community Center Bundle: A Crystalarium is rewarded to the player after completing the 25,000g Bundle in the Vault section of the Community Center. To complete this bundle, simply donate 25,000g.
  • Museum: Gunther will gift the player with a Crystalarium after they donate at least 50 minerals (either Gemstones or Geode Minerals) to the Museum Collection.

Using The Crystalarium

After construction, players are free to position their Crystalarium anywhere – whether that’s inside or outside, on the farm or off it. The Quarry often serves as an ideal location for establishing a crystal farm, as numerous Crystalariums operate simultaneously there.

The Crystalarium can duplicate various minerals and gemstones provided by the player, with one exception being Prismatic Shards. Among the options, the Crystalarium grows the chosen item most swiftly; however, Quartz is abundant and doesn’t fetch a high price, making it less desirable despite its quick growth. Conversely, Amethysts take 5 days to produce but are incredibly valuable, making them the ideal choice for maximizing profits when used in the Crystalarium.

To move a Crystalarium from its current location, hit it using an axe or pickaxe, at which point it will be transferred back to your inventory. If the Crystalarium is duplicating a gem when you do this, that gem will also fall out. Should you wish to alter the stone inside the Crystalarium, just place another stone in one that’s functioning, much like putting an item into an empty one. For instance, if a Crystalarium is producing Rubies and you prefer Diamonds, simply engage with the device while holding a Diamond. The Ruby will then be ejected, and the Diamond will take its place within the Crystalarium.

Add some valuable gems to the mix and give them a bit of time. Before long, you’ll notice your earnings increasing. Moreover, since numerous Non-Player Characters in Pelican Town appreciate receiving Diamonds as presents, they will surely hold you in high regard.
