As a seasoned space adventurer who’s traversed countless galaxies and completed my fair share of quests, I must say that the Mission Boards in Dazra, Va’ruun’kai, have become a hidden gem for me. Despite their elusive nature, they offer a unique twist on the radiant quests we’ve come to love from Bethesda Game Studios.
Similar to other role-playing games developed by Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield offers a variety of handcrafted quest content, including short side quests, branching main storylines, and everything in between. In line with previous releases from the developer, Starfield and its first major expansion, Shattered Space, incorporate what Bethesda calls ‘radiant quests’ – a type of small-scale, randomly generated quest that can be done repeatedly for smaller Credit and Experience rewards. Starfield has added a twist to the radiant quest concept with the introduction of Mission Boards: fixed locations where players can go to accept bounties, as well as smaller quests such as passenger missions and resource deliveries.
A multitude of enthusiasts are thoroughly captivated by these missions, and major factions within the Settled Systems have special terminals specifically designed for player interaction, allowing them to carry on pursuing quests that align with their preferred factions. In the game “Shattered Space”, House Va’ruun offers a Mission Board where players can immerse themselves in Va’ruun-themed quests and bounties.
Where To Find Mission Boards In Dazra On Va’ruun’kai
The Shattered Space Mission Boards in Dazra are cleverly concealed, as they’re not explicitly pointed out in the game and lie tucked away from the main path. To discover these elusive boards, players should make their way to the Dazra Security Center, a structure situated to the left of the city entrance, immediately following the spaceport. Upon entering the Security Center, the Mission Boards will be located to the right of the entry door.
What Missions Do The Dazra Mission Boards Offer?
The missions provided by Dazra Mission Boards on Va’ruun’kai share many characteristics with those found elsewhere in the game, but they have a unique House Va’ruun flavor. Players can anticipate being assigned tasks such as saving operatives and spies hidden within the Settled Systems, or receiving orders to eliminate Va’ruun Zealots or dangerous creatures roaming throughout Va’ruun’kai.
How To Clear House Var’uun Bounties In Starfield
It seems that as of now, no Bounty Kiosk is found in Dazra or its vicinity for the purpose of clearing a House Va’ruun Bounty. This predicament worsens for gamers because the self-service kiosks they can construct and the fixed ones in Settled Systems do not clear Va’ruun Bounties. Whether this is an oversight, a glitch, or intentional design is uncertain. To get rid of a Va’ruun Bounty, players must instead submit themselves to a Dazra guard.
Instead of surrendering to the guard, it leads to being locked up for several days, which in turn causes you to lose Experience Points (XP) relative to the duration of your confinement. In the game Starfield, bounties do not diminish with time, making the present method of clearing Va’ruun’kai’s bounty unique: by serving your prison sentence and enduring the XP penalty.
What To Do If Guards Attack On Sight?
In larger reward scenarios, guards will aggressively confront the player upon first encounter. Engaging in combat with these guards will escalate the bounty further. One potential solution to this issue involves leaving the system via a spaceship, waiting or resting for at least 24 hours, and then coming back to surrender yourself. If there are no bounty clearance stations available, the sole option is to revert to an earlier save without the existing bounty on your record.
