You can find him in the garden out back. After talking to Graminova, he’ll give you quests that teach you everything you need to know about Farming. Completing these quests is like getting certified – you’ll earn a rank and unlock new items, crafting recipes, and other helpful things at the store.

You can also unlock special benefits in the Workpedia app using Starsand, but you’ll need a Farming certification to access certain perks.

How to Grow Crops in Starsand Island

Now that you’ve learned gardening from Graminova’s Farming profession, it’s time to put your skills to use! Growing crops on Starsand Island is straightforward – you just need land, seeds, tools, and either time or fertilizer to get started.

You can make a Stone Hoe at the Workbench and put it in your hotbar. Then, select the Stone Hoe and click on any empty dirt patch to prepare it for planting seeds.

Always read the description on each seed packet. It tells you everything you need to know, like how to plant the seeds, how long they take to grow, how many vegetables you’ll get, and when to plant them.

You can grow crops like garlic by planting their seeds in a Planting Box. You can build a Planting Box at the Workbench after you’ve learned the recipe.
