Steam Users Have Until November 10 to Claim Latest Free Game

Steam is currently offering OneShift as a free game, but the offer won’t last forever. Steam often gives away free games, which is great news for PC gamers looking to expand their collections. While permanently free games are always a highlight, temporary free trials of popular titles are also frequently available.

You can try out Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for free on Steam until November 10th at 12:00 PM Central Time. This popular open-world RPG is quite long – taking 50 to 100+ hours to complete – so you likely won’t finish it during the free trial, but it’s a great way to see if you enjoy it before purchasing. During the free play period, the game is also 40% off.

OneShift is Free on Steam

Unlike the free game OneShift, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 isn’t permanently free on Steam. If you don’t purchase Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll lose access to it on November 10th at 12:00 PM Central Time. The good news is you can claim OneShift for free on Steam and keep it indefinitely, but you must do so before November 10th at 12:00 PM CST.

OneShift is a puzzle platformer where you can freeze time. It has a similar visual style to the game Monument Valley and has received “Very Positive” reviews on Steam since its release in 2018. Normally costing $4.99, it’s an affordable game even if you don’t catch it during a free promotion.

Another freebie available on Steam, expiring November 10th at 12:00pm CST, is a downloadable content pack (DLC) for Simon the Sorcerer Origins. You need to own the main game (which costs $24.99) to use the DLC, but it’s free, so why not get it? Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a classic point-and-click adventure game, and even if you don’t plan to buy it now, claiming the DLC is a good idea in case you change your mind or the game becomes free later. Like OneShift, Simon the Sorcerer Origins has received “Very Positive” reviews, making it a great choice for adventure game fans.
