Until September 27th at noon Central Time, Steam users can get the game *The Deed* for free. Steam regularly offers free games, but they change frequently, so you need to watch for announcements to grab them before they’re gone.

Several free games have been offered on Steam throughout September 2025. Players could claim *Cybarian: The Time Travelling Warrior* until September 23rd, and *Away* was available for free until September 24th. Now, Steam is giving away another free game, but this offer ends on September 27th.

In this murder mystery, you try to get away with murder by framing someone else within the walls of Dunshiel House. With multiple endings based on your choices, *The Deed* offers high replay value. It currently has a “Very Positive” rating from Steam users, making it a great free game to check out!

It’s a shame some Steam users miss these announcements and the free game offer ends before they see it. If that happens with *The Deed*, don’t worry – it’s only 99 cents! While getting it for free is ideal, a dollar is still a great price to try it out.
