Prior to the PC launch of Stellar Blade, it appears that developer Shift Up has hinted at the creation of a follow-up game. Earlier, Shift Up had suggested the possibility of a Stellar Blade sequel, and they are also engaged in developing a new action-RPG known as Project Witches.
In the latest corporate presentation, there was mention of an upcoming sequel to Stellar Blade, titled Stellar Blade 2. As per the document from Insider Gaming on page 19, both Stellar Blade 2 and Project Witches are planned for release prior to 2027. Although plans can change, this suggests a relatively swift development timeline for a new installment of Stellar Blade, as it initially debuted on the PS5 in 2024 and has since received numerous post-launch updates.
The planned PC launch is set for June 12th as well, however, the game is not available for purchase on Steam in more than a hundred nations, and the cause behind this remains unclear.
Information about Stellar Blade: Complete Edition was previously leaked this month, and we can confirm that it will be available for both PS5 and PC on June 11th. Earlier, a trailer on Sony’s YouTube channel showed that the complete edition includes a new boss fight and costumes to gather, but it’s important to mention that these additional features are also being added to the base game on PS5 as a complimentary update.
