Stellar Blade x Nier: Automata DLC Revealed

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of Stellar Blade’s expansion has sent shockwaves through the community. Having played my fair share of post-apocalyptic games, I must admit that the Nier: Automata crossover piqued my interest in ways I never thought possible.

Approximately five months following its exclusive launch on PlayStation 5, game developer Shift Up has unveiled the initial expansion for Stellar Blade, the post-apocalyptic slasher that generated buzz in April due to its successful release and captivating visuals – particularly the revealing attire of the protagonist, Eve.

A few months back, Shift Up brought up the topic of a potential sequel, a PC version, and additional content for Stellar Blade, and it looks like at least one of these possibilities is now official.

At the PlayStation State of Play event, it was unveiled that the initial expansion for Stellar Blade would feature a collaboration with Nier: Automata. This exciting development means the two games’ post-apocalyptic worlds will merge.

When it debuted in April, Stellar Blade took the lead on sales charts, an achievement noteworthy because it was exclusively available on a single platform. Remarkably, it surpassed one million copies sold within a short span of time. This is particularly notable for a fresh franchise without a pre-existing fanbase.

After setting aside the numerous revealing costumes, players discovered that Stellar Blade is an exceptional game with minimal imperfections.
