Stellar Blade’s devs would like you to know you don’t need a PSN account on PC as they work on the region lock problem

Earlier this week, it emerged and then was verified that Stellar Blade, the game with a style reminiscent of Nier and Bayonetta, complete with exaggerated jiggle physics, is set to release for PC next month, specifically on June 11th. They additionally made it clear that linking a PSN account is merely voluntary and not compulsory in any way. This seems to be a response to the widespread criticism from PC gamers, suggesting that perhaps this situation wasn’t entirely within their control.

Beyond addressing the region lock issue, Shift Up also aimed to clarify that the Digital Rights Management (DRM) has been carefully adjusted to ensure consistent average frame rates and higher minimum frames in certain instances. Furthermore, all modifications will be completely supported without any limitations, ensuring a standard modding experience for this game. I assure you, no unusual or questionable visions are being pursued here.
