Next week, on June 7th, the partnership between Stellar Blade and the saucy smartphone shooter, NIKKE: Goddess of Victory, will be formally announced during a live broadcast for the well-known game.
A fresh snapshot reveals an artwork depicting one of Eve’s camps, boasting a vending machine and a record player.
It seems this scenario involves a temporary in-game feature, featuring collaborative interactions between heroines from NIKKE and characters Eve, Lily, and Adam from the PS5 game. It’s anticipated that both Eve and Lily will become playable characters, with a variety of costume options for them potentially becoming available through gacha draws.
If you’re not familiar with NIKKE, it’s a game that combines elements of visual novels with arcade-style shooting sections. The visuals and sound quality are exceptional, and given its provocative premise, the storytelling is surprisingly robust as well.
In the mobile game, shorter, casual in-game happenings are often alternated with larger, more engaging ones. Since this is going to be live-streamed, it’s anticipated that it will be among the major events for the title in 2025.
It’s intriguing to consider the degree of power developer Shift Up might endow Eve with. If she turns out to be strong, it could certainly boost her popularity in the console gaming scene.
Given that everything – including the PC launch and additional NIKKE content for Stellar Blade – is planned to debut together, it seems like a fantastic illustration of collaboration between games. We’ll share updates about the NIKKE content as soon as they become available, which should be by next week.
