Stilled Hebra Mountain Passage Walkthrough (Tri's Friends)

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has been one of the most engaging and challenging adventures I’ve embarked on lately. The side-quests scattered throughout Hyrule are not just filler content; they add depth and richness to the game, making it a truly immersive experience.

In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll find an abundance of side missions scattered across the land of Hyrule. One such mission, located at Hebra Mountain, is a significant part of the side content called “Stamp Stand Swallowed!“. This quest not only assists in finding all 25 Stamp Rally locations within Echoes of Wisdom, but it also presents a small fissure. Closing this rift contributes to leveling up Tri, and upon completion, Zelda is rewarded with Might Crystals.

As a gamer, I stumbled upon “Stamp Stand Swallowed” deep into my adventure on Hebra Mountain. It’s not exactly in your direct path, so it might be easy to overlook. When you reach the final waypoint atop Hebra Mountain, you’ll face a fork: head north towards Lanaryu Temple dungeon or east along a narrow passage filled with snowballs. If you’re keen on discovering this quest, take the eastern route.

Near the conclusion of the text, you’ll come across the Stamp Man positioned before a chasm. It turns out that one of the Stamp Rally stations was meant to be located here, but it has mysteriously vanished, presumably drawn into the chasm. In your conversation with the Stamp Man, it becomes evident that you need to seal the chasm to unlock the Stamp Kiosk. Later on, Tri will let Zelda know that he can create an entryway. Utilize the opening and venture into the chasm.

Where to Find Tri’s Friends in Stilled Hebra Mountain Passage – Echoes of Wisdom

Three pals of Tri are currently trapped inside this fissure. Here’s where each of his companions can be found. Gather them all to seal the fissure.

Tri’s Friend 1:

As you step into the chasm initially, veer right and navigate over the initial pair of voids. Despite the chilliness, you can traverse these spaces using Water Blocks. Soon enough, you’ll run into Ice Keese, creatures that can petrify Zelda instantly. If you possess some, a potion might come in handy to fend them off. To render yourself impervious to ice, prepare a Piping-Hot Potion (made from Monster Guts and Warm Pepper) first.

With this potion, you’ll find assistance when you step onto the last platform located on the right side. There, you’ll encounter a big platform housing not one but two creatures – a Freezard and a Dark Freezard. These enemies have a chilling ability, releasing a frosty mist. However, they can be quickly defeated by fire. The Dark Freezard will drop the initial item known as Tri’s Friend.

Tri’s Friend 2:

Go back to the initial base and move forward towards the huge vertical wall with the big swimming pool beneath it. Dive into the pool and swim upwards. You’ll find that the exit at the peak is obstructed by ice. To extend the pool sideways, use a Water Block. Then, leap onto the tall tree on the left side. From there, you can navigate your way to the top of the platform.

1st: Initially, utilize any Fire Echo to thaw the ice obstructing the water’s exit. Tri’s companion can be found right in the middle of the thawed ice.

Tri’s Friend 3:

Initially, veer to your left and employ Water Blocks to traverse the chasm and reach the final stage. Pay close attention as you’ll find numerous Ice Blocks scattered around this last platform. Be cautious of the Snomaul that hurls snowballs in the direction of Zelda.

Once you’ve defeated the adversaries, make your way to the right extreme and dissolve the ice formations there. Hidden among those ice blocks is a character named Tri’s Friend 3.

Completing Stamp Stand Swallowed!:

As I gather the last orb housing Tri’s companion, the rift starts to naturally shrink. For every step forward, Tri moves closer to 20% progress on his next level. Meanwhile, Zelda secures a pair of Might Crystals in her inventory.

When Zelda visits the Stamp Man again, you’ll notice that the Stamp Rally Station has reappeared. Now, it’s ready for Zelda to utilize it, marking the end of the exciting event known as “The Stamp Stand Disappears!“.
