They’ve confirmed that Tales From ’85 is officially canon, and everything that happens in the animated series will take place between seasons 2 and 3 of the main show. As for when we can actually watch it, Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is slated for 2026, but they haven’t given us a firm release date just yet.
A Stranger Things Live-Action Is Also On Its Way

The Duffer Brothers have officially announced a live-action spin-off of Stranger Things. While many projects are still to come, the Nancy Wheeler spin-off is already available! The book, called Stranger Things: One Way Or Another, is written by Caitlin Schneiderhan and follows Nancy as she and Robin investigate strange occurrences in Hawkins.
Fans will remember a time jump between seasons 4 and 5 of Stranger Things. This new spin-off book fills in the missing pieces, explaining what happened during the devastating earthquake in Hawkins and how the group first started tracking Vecna.
