Waiting a month for new episodes can be annoying, particularly after a three-year wait for the latest season. Luckily, the time between Volume 2 and Volume 3 won’t be as long. It almost seems like Netflix wants us to be talking about Stranger Things only during the holiday season between Christmas and New Year’s.

Vecna Will Face Not One, But Three Powered-Up Kids In The Second Part

The first part of the season showed Eleven and Hopper going undercover at a military base in the Upside Down, searching for Vecna. Instead, they discovered Eight, also known as Kali Prasad, who was being held prisoner by Dr. Kay. This brought Eleven face-to-face with her long-lost sister, and she might team up with the group in Hawkins to battle Vecna. We’ll see Eleven and Eight working together again in the second part of the fifth season, following the events of Season 2.

Meanwhile, Max and Holly are working on a way to break free from Henry’s mental prison. They’re expected to escape in Volume 2, where Max will be happily reunited with Lucas and her other friends. The sixth episode, titled “Escape From Camazotz,” might be when Max wakes up from her coma.

However, taunting Will and threatening his loved ones proved to be a mistake for Henry. In the climactic moments of Episode 4, Will harnesses this connection – the Hive Mind – to access Vecna’s own powers. He’s able to stop the monsters from attacking and even eliminate them in a way that mirrors Vecna’s abilities.

So, what’s next? Vecna is now up against Eleven, Eight, and Will working together. However, he’s become much more powerful since their last fight in Season 4, and he’s also kidnapped twelve children from Hawkins. He seems to have everything he needs to take over the world, but we know that won’t happen. Expect a tough battle with a lot of conflict, but ultimately, Eleven and her friends will defeat Henry Creel for good.
