Shawn Levy Won’t Be Directing All of Stranger Things’ Episodes

According to Screen Rant, director Shawn Levy, who is popular for films like the Night at the Museum series and All the Light We Cannot See, won’t be as heavily involved in directing episodes of Stranger Things season 5 as he has been in previous seasons. Unlike before where he directed every third and fourth episode since the show premiered, this time, Frank Darabont will take over for Levy in episode 3 titled “The Turnbow Trap.” In episode 4, titled “Sorcerer,” the Duffer Brothers are set to direct instead.

As a movie enthusiast eagerly awaiting the return of “Stranger Things,” I’m thrilled to share that Shawn Levy, known for his exceptional directing, is set to take the helm for an episode in season 5. While the specific episode he’ll be working on remains undecided, it’s speculated that it could be either “Escape from Camazotz” (episode 6) or “The Bridge” (episode 7), as no director has been assigned to these episodes yet.
