As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when it comes to the announcement of Songs of Conquest coming to mobile. The game harks back to the golden age of strategy titles like Heroes of Might and Magic, a series that I spent countless hours mastering on my old Pentium III.

The team behind Lavapotion and Coffee Stain Publishing has revealed that their turn-based fantasy strategy game, Songs of Conquest, will be making its way onto mobile devices.

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that we’re extending the Songs of Conquest journey to a new platform beyond PC! The creative minds at Coffee Stain and Lavapotion have poured their energy into crafting an effortless and captivating mobile experience. We eagerly anticipate the feedback from our players as they embark on this magical adventure!

Although no specific launch date was mentioned at the announcement, it’s expected to arrive on both iOS and Android devices shortly.

Back in May of 2022, I jumped headfirst into the Early Access release of Songs of Conquest. Fast-forward two years to its 1.0 launch in May 2024, and this game has become a massive hit! Over half a million copies have been sold on Steam alone. The creators at Lavapotion are already cooking up several expansions and DLC packs to keep the adventure going for us players.

The game “Songs of Conquest” is a tactical game reminiscent of legendary turn-based strategies like the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Its distinctive 2.5D pixel art style combines with strategic gameplay to create an experience that will take fans of the genre back to their favorite strategy games, while also appreciating the game’s complexity and replay value.
