Fans are loving the Solo Leveling anime and are eager for more episodes! In just 25 episodes, the show has introduced a compelling group of powerful Hunters and other strong beings. However, the story largely centers on the incredible power of Sung Jinwoo. Currently, there aren’t many characters who can truly challenge him, which may leave some viewers wanting more. So far, Jinwoo has been overwhelmingly dominant, and even his biggest test yet – the Ant King – was defeated relatively easily. To keep viewers engaged, the series needs to introduce more significant obstacles for him to overcome.

The challenges are about to significantly increase for Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling, with the introduction of a new, incredibly powerful foe likely coming soon. So far, the story has only hinted at the mysterious Monarchs, without fully explaining who they are. However, in Solo Leveling Season 3 and beyond, we’ll learn much more about them, and may even catch a glimpse of the being who rules over them all: Antares. Solo Leveling fans will be thrilled to meet this formidable enemy, who will become Sung Jinwoo’s greatest challenge yet.

Fans of the Solo Leveling anime haven’t yet seen the most powerful characters in the series. So far, the story has mainly followed Sung Jinwoo and his increasing strength. Now, the anime is set to shift focus, exploring the growth of other characters while also presenting Sung Jinwoo with even greater challenges.

The most significant new character likely coming in Solo Leveling Season 3 is Antares. Whether he’s fully featured will depend on how much of the story the season covers, but it’s highly probable we’ll see him appear at some point.

Antares is considered the most powerful enemy Sung Jinwoo faces in the Solo Leveling story. As the Monarch of Destruction – also known as the King of Dragons – he’s the strongest of all the Monarchs and a major obstacle for Jinwoo. His power is immense, surpassing even that of the Shadow Monarch, Ashborn. He’s strong enough to permanently destroy Jinwoo’s shadows, highlighting the serious threat he poses. Despite Jinwoo’s significant power growth throughout the story, and even with further enhancements, Antares remains a formidable opponent and presents a considerable challenge.

Jinwoo Will Eventually Become The Strongest

Sung Jinwoo isn’t strong enough to defeat Antares yet, and that’s what makes the story so engaging. He’ll need to train intensely and find ways to become much more powerful. This difficult journey is what will make future seasons of Solo Leveling so thrilling. Jinwoo’s real challenges as both a person and a fighter are just beginning, and fans are eager to see how he grows.
