Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Updates Will End With Season 4

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a bittersweet mix of emotions as I hear about Rocksteady’s decision to end support for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

According to an update on the official site, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s development by Rocksteady Studios has officially reached its conclusion with Season 4, marking the end of further updates for this game.

The updates encompass several features such as introducing Deathstroke, a fresh Elseworld set in a medieval theme, new equipment, and an offline play option. Remarkably, the offline play feature is scheduled to launch on December 10, coinciding with the release of Season 4 episode 7.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Rocksteady has introduced an ‘Offline Mode’ for their game. This feature enables me to immerse myself in the main story campaign and all seasonal missions without needing an internet connection! To enjoy this mode, I can either start fresh by creating a new profile from scratch or duplicate my current Online profile, preserving all my hard-earned progress.

In January 2025, you can expect the concluding news about the Suicide Squad with Episode 8. This brings to a close the entire year’s worth of updates that Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Games had promised for this game.

Although further updates have ceased, Rocksteady assures that all online functionalities such as multiplayer mode and previously released seasonal or episodic content will continue to be accessible. However, it’s uncertain whether additional critical support updates will be provided post-update cessation.

The conclusion of Suicide Squad updates marked the end of a contentious phase for Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games. Originally slated for 2023, the game faced issues upon release, leading to its temporary removal from early access. Subsequently, Warner Bros. Games disclosed that not only did the game underperform financially, but it resulted in a loss of $200 million in revenue.

Rocksteady even underwent a round of layoffs after the launch of the game.
