Thankfully, it’s highly unlikely that this situation will occur, as Jin-Woo consistently demonstrates his commitment to mankind.

The system created by Kandiaru was meant to guide Jin-Woo’s development and prepare his body for the powers of the Shadow Monarch. Yet, Kandiaru didn’t foresee Ashborn’s treachery. Instead of standing alongside the Monarchs with Jin-Woo, he employed the system to seize power, ultimately defeating each one individually. To put it simply, Jin-Woo assumed the powers of a Monarch and used them against their own kind.

In this situation, Jin-Woo had the option to continue using his shadow power for healing purposes without regard for Byung-Gu’s personal beliefs. Fortunately, Jin-Woo is not that kind of individual.

As Jin-Woo employs the technique of extracting shadows from magical creatures and powerful individuals, he transforms them into his loyal servants, instilling in them a deep desire to pay homage to their conqueror. What’s more, if a shadow proves inferior to a new one, Jin-Woo can dismiss it with ease. Essentially, he becomes an unavoidable force. However, despite this ruthless side, Jin-Woo possesses a benevolent nature and regards his shadows as integral parts of himself. Over the course of time, they develop a profound bond, transforming their initial encounter into a much stronger relationship.
