This post contains spoilers for Solo Leveling Season 2.
Summary
- Solo Leveling Episode 24 is anticipated to be the best and will focus on Sung Jinwoo’s actions.
- Sung Jinwoo stays behind to protect his family, while sending his Shadows to help Korean Hunters.
- Sung Jinwoo faces a powerful enemy, the Black Ant, and must use his shadows to protect himself and fellow Hunters.
Without a doubt, it’s reasonable to anticipate that Episode 24 of Solo Leveling could potentially be A-1 Pictures’ finest episode yet. This installment is expected to delve deeper into the events unfolding during the Jeju Island arc. The excitement among fans for Episode 24 is palpable, as they eagerly await the opportunity to witness Sung Jinwoo in action.
Instead of joining the attack, the hero chose to focus on his loved ones, especially his recently awakened mother from eternal slumber. He opted to remain behind, yet dispatched his shadows to accompany the Korean Hunters; a precautionary measure should any problems arise during the raid.
In Episode 24 of Solo Leveling, character Jinwoo Sung encounters ants for the first time, yet his immediate concern is assisting Korean Hunter comrades. The Black Ant, a formidable opponent, had mercilessly attacked these Hunters in the last episode, leaving several high-ranking Japanese Hunters decapitated without any effort. Following the defeat of the Korean Hunters, the Black Ant pursued Goto Ryuji, who claimed to be the Human King; this decision ultimately led to Ryuji’s demise.
Thankfully, only one member of the Korean Hunters fell, but Sung Jinwoo is there to prevent any more losses. Equipped with healing elixirs, he’s ready to distribute them among his comrades, ensuring they stay battle-ready despite their wounds. The upcoming scenes depict Baek Yonhoo, Choi Jong-in, Ma Dong-wook, and Lim Tae-Gyu unscathed, a testament to Sung Jinwoo’s thoughtful first aid.
The Black Ant Will Keep The Hunters On Their Toes
The Black Ant Is Ruthless And A Real Danger

In my excitement, let me share that this formidable foe, the Black Ant, won’t allow our hero any leeway for procrastination. This antsy adversary boasts astonishingly potent abilities, ones that it’s miraculously mastered in record time. The Black Ant, unlike its ordinary counterparts, seems to possess an intelligence that surpasses the norm. It exhibits this by sensing the energy around it or identifying the greater threat among those present.
An illustrative case is where it strategically focused on Min Byung-gyu, a key figure in healing the Korean Hunters, thereby enabling them to battle the opposition. Another smart move by the Black Ant was when it ceased attacking the Korean Hunters and instead moved out to confront Goto Ryuji directly.
Are you…their king? —The Black Ant
It was clear to Goto that he was stronger than the other hunters, which prompted him to focus his efforts elsewhere. Since The Black Ant can communicate, it’s likely there will be some sort of dialogue between it and Sung Jinwoo. There may even be a chance they discuss why these creatures keep targeting humans.
Humanity’s Fate Rests On Sung Jinwoo’s Shoulders
The Hero Needs To Stop The Ants At All Costs
Sung Jinwoo is exceptionally swift and rarely gets outmaneuvered in battle. Only a select few opponents have caught him off guard. While his physical power isn’t quite on par with the Black Ant, it’s noteworthy. He must tread carefully, as one misstep could prove fatal. Sung Jinwoo primarily relies on his weapon, the Shadows, in combat. These entities aren’t just strong physically but possess unique skills. What makes them particularly formidable is that they can’t be destroyed as long as Sung Jinwoo maintains his Mana energy.
When all the other ants surround the Black Ant, it will find itself with limited space to move around. Additionally, the high-ranking S-rank Hunters might join forces with Sung Jinwoo by eliminating the common ants, as they are likely to interfere in the battle. These ants are fearless about death and will not cease until they’re exterminated.
It’s intriguing to find out whether the battle concludes in Episode 24 or if it carries over to the following episode. Many viewers are eagerly anticipating that Sung Jinwoo will wrap up the fight within this episode, allowing the finale to set up events for the upcoming season of Solo Leveling.
