A release date has been announced for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Join Mario in a brand new adventure! Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition releases on March 26, 2026, and to celebrate, there will be a meetup event in Bellabel Park. Return to the Flower Kingdom and experience all the wonder!
This update for the Nintendo Switch version of the 2023 game includes exciting new features! Players can enjoy the fun Wonder Effects that revitalized classic 2D Mario gameplay, and they’ll also get to explore Bellabel Park, a brand-new area with unique multiplayer challenges.
This updated version will have improved graphics for the Nintendo Switch 2 and include Rosalina and Luma as playable characters, building excitement for the new Super Mario Galaxy movie.
Pricing for Super Mario Bros. Wonder on the Nintendo Switch 2
You can now pre-order the game! If you already have the original version on Nintendo Switch, upgrading to the new version will cost $19.99.
Currently, you can’t pre-order the game specifically for the new Nintendo Switch 2. The original Nintendo Switch version is still available for $59.99.
