Exclusive news from Game Rant: We’re unveiling two upcoming Super7 figurines inspired by the Godzilla series. These figures depict Battra and Mothra, an ancient ally of Godzilla. They are planned to enrich the Toho ULTIMATES collection of high-end collectibles.

Originally launched as a publication for enthusiasts of vintage toys in 2001, Super7 eventually expanded its horizons into toy manufacturing. Today, this company produces a vast array of toys and merchandise inspired by numerous popular media franchises, such as Godzilla and the entire MonsterVerse.

Super7 has unveiled two brand-new figurines inspired by a beloved Godzilla film, an exclusive scoop for Game Rant to share. One of these collectibles is designed after the legendary Mothra kaiju, who first graced our screens in the ’60s and has since starred in over 20 films, including the 2024 release “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”. The other figure showcases Battra, a dark divine moth-like kaiju originally created by Kazuki Omori and designed by Minoru Yoshida in the early ’90s. Additionally, Super7 is launching soft toys of Godzilla and Mechagodzilla.

Super7’s Battra Figure

Standing at 2.5 inches tall and extending up to 6 inches long, the Battra figure boasts a wingspan of 12.25 inches. Super7 claims that their latest version of Godzilla’s arch-nemesis is meticulously crafted and features a high-quality paint job. The design of this collectible is inspired by Toho’s 1992 film “Godzilla vs. Mothra”. Similar to other Toho ULTIMATES figures, the Battra collectible comes with interchangeable parts such as a swappable head and legs, offering collectors a variety of ways to display it. Included in the package is a flight stand, and the product retails for $85.

Super7’s Mothra figure

Following the tradition of Godzilla mythology, the Mothra figure stands approximately equal to its Battra counterpart, reaching 2 inches tall and stretching to 5 inches long, while its wingspan spans a impressive 12.3 inches. Its design is modeled after the 1992 encounter between Godzilla and Mothra, featuring an accurate paint job and intricate sculpting details. This figure comes with a distinctive accessory – a briefcase housing the Shobijin Twins, two diminutive fairies first introduced in Toho’s 1961 masterpiece Mothra. Additionally, three interchangeable leg sets are included, along with a minimalist flight stand. Similar to the Battra collectible, the Super7 Mothra figure retails for $85.

You can purchase the figures of Battra and Mothra straight from Super7. These recently introduced toys are now available, shortly following Super7’s release of a charming set featuring Godzilla (’89), Minus One, and 90s MechaGodzilla. This set, which falls under Super7’s FUN! FUN! collection, is currently being sold for $75 in stores.
