The initial week of June signifies a significant milestone for the entire video game world and its dedicated fans, as we are on the brink of embarking on a fresh journey. Nintendo is set to launch the sequel to their successful 2017 console on June 5, accompanied by a new installment in the Mario Kart series. It’s truly exciting! The Nintendo Switch 2 may not boast the strongest launch game lineup, but there will still be an abundance of titles to keep you entertained, even if you’re not deeply passionate about Mario Kart.
This tutorial will walk you through all the upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch 2, featuring classic GameCube games available on Switch Online, heavy-hitter third-party titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, and enhancements to games originally released for the Nintendo Switch 1.
All Launch Titles for the Nintendo Switch 2
First-Party Switch 2 Launch Games
To begin with, let me share the initial part that will outline the debut games for the new, in-house Switch 2 series, which includes three GameCube favorites joining the Switch Online library. Unfortunately, there aren’t many to start with, but luckily “Mario Kart World” is leading the charge on launch day.

Instead of separate Nintendo Switch 2 editions, several games will offer individual Upgrade Pack options that can be purchased. Most upgrades are expected to cost around $10, with examples like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. However, third-party developers have the freedom to set their own prices. Interestingly, Fantasy Life’s Switch 2 upgrade will only charge players $2.59.
