Sword Of Convallaria: How To Change Appearance

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt and a soft spot for immersive RPGs, I must admit that Sword of Convallaria has piqued my interest. However, when it comes to character customization, I find myself a bit torn.

As a fervent enthusiast diving into the captivating world of “Sword of Convallaria”, I found an intriguing feature that caught my attention right from the start: the option to select either a male or female protagonist. Although this choice might seem significant at first glance, it surprisingly doesn’t affect the core gameplay or the overall storyline in any substantial way.

As a dedicated fan, here’s my take: Throughout the game, I’ll have the opportunity to play as the main character for a limited number of missions, requiring me to manage my stamina effectively. Later on, the character will step back and can be seen only in Elysium. If you fancy switching characters mid-game, you certainly can, but remember, it comes with a price tag attached.

How to Change Your Appearance In Sword Of Convallaria

In Elysium, you can modify your character’s look whenever you like. Simply click on the menu located at the top left corner of the screen. To the right of your account name, you’ll find a pencil icon. Click on that and then choose “Change Appearance”. Here, you can switch between male and female characters for the price of 50 Hope Luxites.

50 Luxite points are required each time you wish to alter your appearance because individual skins can’t be permanently bought. Modifying your look grants you the ability to display that character’s Avatar icon on your profile, but remember, this icon is gender-specific and only applicable to your current gender. In story missions within Elysium, both your character model and appearance will match accordingly. However, altering your appearance does not influence any gameplay changes.

Should You Change Your Appearance

In the game, Hope Luxites serve as a primary currency for acquiring Secret Fates, which are essential for summoning new heroes and weapons. As such, it’s advisable to use them to enhance your party rather than changing your gender, given that it may not yield significant benefits. The “Exchange” option in the store is dedicated to Hope Luxites, where you can earn them through various means within the game.

  • Cornucopia
  • Completing some quests
  • Zone Star rewards
  • Events

Exchanging your Hope Luxites for other items will just about always be the better option. If your account is still new and you want to re-roll, it may be better to make a new account and choose the new appearance you want while it is free. While 50 Hope Luxites may not seem like much, it’s best to save up as many as possible and wait for specific summon banners to make sure you get the heroes you want thanks to the guarantee system.
