Take-Two Interactive Reconfirms GTA 6 Will Launch in Fall 2025

Rockstar Games continues to stand by their word, confirming that Grand Theft Auto 6 is set for release in 2025, even without a fresh trailer at this time.

The announcement was made during Take-Two Interactive’s quarterly earnings for Q3 2025.

Looking forward, it appears that 202x could be one of Take-Two’s most robust years yet, with plans to debut Grand Theft Auto VI in the autumn season.

It might catch some readers off guard, as the general chatter online over the past couple of months had suggested that the game would likely be postponed because there were no recent updates.

As I’m typing this, we haven’t yet seen a second trailer for GTA 6. The first one was unveiled in December 2023. This is the longest gap between trailers for any title from Rockstar Games to date.

It appears that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have no immediate plans to release more information about their games, as the game reveal trailer shattered several YouTube records within a day. These include being the Most Watched Video Game Reveal, the Most Viewed YouTube Video overall, and the Most Liked Video Game Trailer in just 24 hours.

To put it simply, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games are certain that when the trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 eventually drops, it will generate significant interest. Given that Take-Two has a robust schedule of releases planned for this year, it may be strategically wise to shine the limelight on other games temporarily, as focusing exclusively on GTA 6 at this juncture might not yield the best results.

Are you looking forward to GTA 6? And do you think it will actually release in 2025?
