Takopi’s Original Sin Episode 6 Release Date

This post contains spoilers for Takopi’s Original Sin.

In the penultimate episode of “Takopi’s Original Sin” last week, fans were left reeling as it emerged that Takopi’s actions over the past four episodes, which seemed to be aimed at making Shizuka happy, were in fact part of a plan to simplify Marina’s life instead.

Takopi’s First Visit To Earth

Takopi Met Marina And Then Decided To Help Her

  • Takopi’s Original Sin Episode 5 had was full of emotion
  • It is the highest-rated anime of 2025

During his visit to Earth in 2022, Takopi first crossed paths with Marina, an individual who bore scars on the left side of her face. These marks were inflicted by her unstable mother, a tragic reminder of the absence of Marina’s father. Since his departure, Marina’s life had been fraught with hardship. Her mother’s mental state deteriorated, and she refused to take necessary medication. In Marina’s mother’s mind, her husband would someday return, restoring their family as it once was.

Following an encounter with Azuma, Marina had hopes that things would improve, and they did, albeit briefly. However, when Shizuka reappeared at school, everything fell apart swiftly. As Azuma had long been infatuated with Shizuka, he abandoned Marina without delay. Upon returning home, Marina shared the story with her mother, causing a strong emotional response and stirring up her own insecurities. In a moment of anger, she attacked Marina and was on the verge of taking her life. However, it was Marina who ended up stabbing her mother with a shard of broken glass. Seeing this, Takopi felt stunned and resolved to travel back in time to eliminate Shizuka, believing that doing so would improve Marina’s life.

Shizuka Got A Massive Setback In Episode 5

In the first scene of Episode 5, viewers witnessed Shizuka embarking on a journey to Tokyo to reunite with her father and Chappy. Both Shizuka and Takopi were filled with excitement at the prospect of this encounter. However, upon arriving at their destination, they discovered that Shizuka’s father had formed a new family, comprising two daughters and a dog.

In simpler terms, the older child inquired about why Shizuka continued to call him “dad,” to which he replied, “I ponder that myself.” Years prior, he had cut ties with Shizuka and her mother, but she still held on to the hope that things might change. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. Disappointed, Shizuka and Takopi took shelter under a bridge. Takopi sensed something was amiss with Shizuka. He attempted to lift her spirits and even suggested returning, but Shizuka’s thoughts were consumed by Chappy. She contemplated ripping open her father’s stomach to check if he had eaten Chappy, which was quite disturbing since she was only a child and it was puzzling to see such a violent thought coming from her.

Takopi’s Original Sin Episode 6 Release Date

On August 2nd, 2025, episode 6 of the Takopi’s Original Sin series will air, marking its finale. This means all the intriguing mysteries will be unraveled. As the last scene of the preceding episode showed, Azuma was moving towards Takopi. With the alien having recovered his memories, it’s expected that he and Azuma will have an extended discussion. Given that Takopi is still grappling with human emotions, Azuma might offer some guidance in this regard.

It appears that Shizuka’s tale may not conclude happily. Despite her enduring hardships, she has reached a stage where she can cold-bloodedly take another life. Given that she has already brutally struck Takopi’s head with a rock, there seems to be little remorse in her about repeating such an act.

It’s intriguing to observe how Takopi’s story unfolds, especially since we now know his ultimate objective. He has already taken Marina’s life, and now he appears to have lost Shizuka to the shadows. This alien character will need to find a means to reconcile with the consequences of his actions.
