Players of Escape from Tarkov are confused by recent social media activity from Nikita Buyanov, the head of Battlestate Games. He revealed a new social profile created this year that links to a website for a made-up company called ‘CORE Corp’. Visiting the website reveals a lot of detailed information.
The game initially seems completely fresh, set in a science fiction world across different planets. Earth has been devastated by a mysterious disaster and is now radioactive. Players will face daily tasks, unlock new features, interact with AI characters, and solve numerous mysteries.
What is COR3.GG?
Earlier today, the lead of Escape from Tarkov, Nikita Buyanov, shared a link to the website COR3.gg with his followers. The site is designed to resemble an old-school computer interface, similar to those seen in games like Fallout or ARC Raiders.

After you sign in with your email and the code sent to you, you’ll receive a special ID. Keep this ID safe – it will allow you to regain access to the system if you’re accidentally signed out.
The CORIE operating system will now show you a menu of options. You can read messages, use a limited web browser, check a weather report that always predicts disaster, and listen to a static-filled radio. There’s also a notepad, a software update tool, and daily puzzles where you’ll examine files, identify problems, and try to fix them.

The game CORIE seems to take place around the year 2251. The player character has access to ‘logs’ that provide some background information about the game, also known as COR3.
Today is my first day as a private investigator for “History Unfolded”.
The deal is done – the contract is signed and everyone agreed to the terms. Honestly, I’m surprised how easily it all went. The people involved, especially my contact, barely asked any questions – it was like they already knew a lot about me. And Aurana… she’s incredibly striking, but there’s something dangerous about her. She really gives me the creeps.
I’ve been wondering how I ended up in this situation for days. It seems like my desire for something different and exciting led me here, on this unexpected journey.
The purpose of this job appears to be solving some long-standing mysteries. However, I’m questioning whether these mysteries are actually unknown to my clients, as they seem remarkably knowledgeable about everything involved – almost as if they already know the answers.
Perhaps they want a different perspective, or maybe they see something valuable in what I offer. To be honest, I’m not even sure I’d want to find out why they reached out.
I just found out through my employment contract that I’m working for Aurana Strogova, and my job is to dig up information about experiments that happened on – well, the contract has a section blacked out – from 2170 until now. It’s a bit mysterious, but sounds like a fascinating assignment!
The entire thing is quite bizarre.
CORIE’s gameplay appears to take place inside an underground bunker. Players can explore and examine objects from their own point of view. The environment includes things like a box of scrap metal, a ventilation system, and different types of armor, such as a miner’s helmet.
One of the item descriptions reads:
Darkhound ‘Oppressor’ Modular Plate Carrier
This incredibly durable plate carrier comes from a well-known and respected company, and I’ve used it in countless dangerous situations all over the place.
It feels like a mix of ARC Raiders and Fallout, but set across planets. The game features things like space elevators, abandoned cargo ships floating near planets like Venus, and powerful weapons designed to scare off space pirates.

The story features a dedicated space council, a navy with powerful battleships, and delves deeply into the histories of multiple characters.
I stumbled across this group called Alternative Future while playing, and apparently, if you want to learn more about them, you have to actually go find one of their bases in the game. It’s a cool way to encourage exploration!
It’s all a bit of a mystery, and fans of Escape from Tarkov are understandably confused. If you want to learn more, check out COR3.gg – you might find some clues there.

I’ve been gaming practically since I was a baby! My first memories are of the Amstrad CPC, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked. Now I play on pretty much everything and I still absolutely love…
