As a gamer who has been following Rocket League since its inception, I must say that the 2024 RLCS was one for the books! Team BDS’s victory, after barely making it to the Grand Finals, was nothing short of spectacular. Their grit and determination were evident throughout the tournament, especially during their nail-biting Semifinals match against G2 Stride.
The 2024 RLCS has concluded its run. Fans of Rocket League worldwide have been treated to high-octane car-vs-car soccer matches, as the finest Rocket League teams ever assembled squared off against each other in Fort Worth, Texas. Yet, only one team managed to claim the championship title, and that was Team BDS.
Team BDS Manages to Win RLCS Grand Finals After Barely Winning Semifinals
For Team BDS, it was an exhilarating day, with them narrowly qualifying for the Grand Finals. Throughout the matches, they encountered Team Falcons, who had earlier been defeated by Karmine Corps in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.
Despite suffering a defeat, Team Falcon became more determined. Aware that these upcoming games might be their final opportunity, they surpassed their own limitations, giving everything they had against Team BDS. Regrettably, they fell short with a score of 4-3.
On a triumphant day for Team BDS, they emerged victorious in not just the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, but also the Semi-Finals and ultimately, the Grand Finals.
In the matchup, our team battled against G2 Stride, clinching the title with a score of 4-2. Not only did they take home $300,000 as their prize, but their star player, ExoTiik, was recognized as the MVP of the RLCS 2024 Season.
