Team Falcons Wins $7 Million Esports World Cup Club Championship

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions upon witnessing Team Falcons clinch the Esports World Cup Club Championship. On one hand, it’s impressive to see an organization amass such an unprecedented amount of points across various games, especially when they’re playing on home turf.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got to say, we on Team Falcons are sitting pretty with just eight days left in the Esports World Cup schedule. With the points we’ve stacked up, no other organization can dethrone us from the top spot. In fact, the Esports World Cup Foundation has made it official: ‘Win or lose in these final days’, Team Falcons has already secured the $7 million grand prize in the Club Championship. It feels amazing to be part of this winning team!

Currently, our organization boasts an impressive total of 4160 CC points, placing us in the top spot. However, Team Liquid follows closely behind with 1760 points, occupying second place. This significant difference has been evident from the start, leading many fans to anticipate our victory. Yet, not everyone is joyful about Team Falcons’ success.

The Host With The Most

The team known as Falcons, being based in Saudi Arabia, is set to play on their local field. Their chairman, Mossad Aldossary, previously participated in the EA FC segment of the EWC, but unfortunately didn’t make it to the playoffs. Interestingly, Team Falcons has spent more time than any other organization building their roster, providing them with a significant advantage from the start.

As we draw near to the last week of the competition, the organization has triumphantly secured victories in both Call of Duty Warzone and Free Fire tournaments. They’ve also achieved impressive placings in Apex Legends and ML:BB events. Moreover, they managed to accumulate points in Dota 2, ML:BB Women, Overwatch 2, and Fortnite.

Without a doubt, it’s been verified that Team Falcons emerges victorious in the Esports World Cup (EWC) regardless of any other outcomes.

They’ve clinched it! 🎉🎉🎉

A cool $7 million in winnings!

Regardless of what follows, @FalconsEsport has already ensured the top spot in the #EsportsWorldCup 2024 Club Championship!

Numerous supporters are expressing on social platforms that Team Falcons appeared to have purchased victory, as they’ve recruited top-tier talent across multiple games and put together a lineup that only a handful of organizations can match in terms of strength.

As a member of Team Falcons, I’m ecstatic to know that we’re set to make gaming history! We’ll be the first to hoist the Club Championship trophy, and the $7 million grand prize just sweetens the victory even more. Not only that, but we’ve also earned a substantial sum from our performances in various games along the way. This is truly a dream come true!

Speaking on stream, Chairman Mossad Aldossary said:

As a long-time fan and now employee of this company, I can genuinely say that the journey to this moment has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the early days as a spectator, cheering from the sidelines, to becoming an integral part of the team, it’s been an honor to be a part of our shared dream.

He did stress that he and his organisation did it for the ‘Saudi people’, and that the trophy ‘won’t leave the country’. Some might call it patriotic, but others are suggesting it was nothing short of predictable.

What’s incredible is that there are still so many games yet to wrap up at the event:

  • Modern Warfare 3
  • EA FC
  • Tekken 8
  • PUBG
  • Rocket League
  • ESL R1
