As a long-time Call of Duty fanatic who’s seen my fair share of seasons and tournaments, I must say, the 2025 Call of Duty League season is shaping up to be nothing short of spectacular! The Flank Invitational was just the tip of the iceberg, with OpTic Texas’ Shotzzy once again proving his mettle by claiming yet another victory.

2025’s season hasn’t begun yet, but last year’s world champion team OpTic Texas, specifically Shotzzy, has already been winning trophies. Alongside Lucky, Kremp, and Beans, Shotzzy took the top spot in The Flank’s Black Ops 6 Invitational, earning the largest prize ever seen in this game before the official announcement of the upcoming CDL season.

This concludes the $100,000 competition sponsored by The Flank. Based on what we’ve witnessed so far, this year’s gaming environment, which is based on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, promises to be exceptionally thrilling and electrifying.

Easy Money

During the finalization of lineups for the forthcoming competitive season, and as gamers everywhere were adjusting to Black Ops 6, top Call of Duty players were actively participating in a prestigious pre-season tournament, aiming to secure a $50,000 prize.

The Flank’s Invitational attracted participants ranging from established world champions to up-and-coming talents, making it an exciting spectacle to watch online.

After the commotion subsided, it was Kremp, Shotzzy, Beans, and Lucky who emerged as champions. This marks the second time Shotzzy has triumphed in The Flank Invitational series, demonstrating his readiness to rule once more during this season.

Previously, some elite teams had emerged, among them one featuring Simp, Cellium, and Scrap – three of the most gifted players in Call of Duty esports – but surprisingly, Team Shotzzy managed a significant victory and pocketed the $50,000 reward.
