Unfortunately, CatNap, a staunch supporter of The Prototype, betrayed me, trapping me in a cell within the Playhouse. Just as you entered our world, I shared this tale with you. Suddenly, a horde of corrupted Smiling Critters, led by my possessed form, sprang to life and started chasing you down.
As a gamer, the sight of DogDay, locked up and split in two, sends a shiver down my spine. The moment when those twisted Smiling Critters invade his body is downright unsettling to witness. And let me tell you, his slow, deliberate crawl towards me was enough to give me nightmares.
However, despite his terrifying appearance, DogDay isn’t as frightening as some other game mascots. Knowing he’s an ally and having no control over himself during the chase scene makes him more pitiful than petrifying. In retrospect, that chase sequence was more sad than scary, but at the time, it felt like a nightmare come to life.
6. Doey The Doughman
