During the triple-i Initiative, it was revealed that ‘The Alters’ are scheduled for release in June 2025 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

In a perilous situation on an unfriendly planet, as the sun is about to set dangerously, Jan Dolski’s only hope for survival lies in generating “alters” – alternate selves stemming from paths not taken. Each alter possesses distinct abilities, characters, and recollections related to various life decisions. Yet, they also bring along disputes, uncertainty, and emotional burdens.
Overseeing the mission involves taking charge of yourself, quite literally. Participants need to keep their base adaptable, handle urgent choices, foster connections with their Alternates, and face the repercussions stemming from their previous existences.
The trailer introduces a novel aspect: ‘The Alters’ showcases the challenges of navigating the planet’s distinctive ecosystems, filled with lethal abnormalities. Suspended rocks and disquieting warps in reality grab your focus instantly. However, other hidden threats remain invisible to the human eye and demand advanced equipment to expose. In each instance, a careless approach can lead to immediate death, radiation wounds, or even the destruction of time-space continuity. Moreover, nighttime exploration should be avoided due to increased radioactivity that can penetrate your suit. These risks only intensify the survival challenge, making every journey an intricate puzzle with high stakes.
