The Best DLC Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension

Even the original Pokemon Legends: Z-A game featured many powerful Pokemon, but the Mega Dimension DLC takes it to the next level. It brings back 20 Mythical and Legendary Pokemon, and a lot of them now have even stronger Mega Evolutions.

The new DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A adds three of the game’s five strongest Pokemon, with one even matching Mewtwo’s power. Players aiming for the ultimate team now have more powerful choices, though some of these Pokemon can be challenging to obtain.

10. Baxcalibur

Mega Baxcalibur’s Base Stat Total is 700

You can find Baxcalibur in 5-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones, or by evolving an Arctibax at level 54. A special item, the Baxcalibrite Orb, will be needed to Mega Evolve Baxcalibur, and it will become available in Season 4 of ranked battles.

You can obtain Heatran by finishing Hyperspace Mission 9, also known as Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 5. To make Heatran Mega Evolve, you’ll need a Heatranite orb, which is also a reward from completing the same mission.

8. Darkrai

You can obtain Darkrai by finishing Hyperspace Mission 11, also known as Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6. To make Darkrai Mega Evolve, you’ll also need a Darkrainite orb, which is a reward for completing the same mission.

After you finish the main story, you can find Latias by initiating a Special Scan. To make Latias Mega Evolve, you’ll need a Latiasite, which you can earn by completing Side Mission 189, called “Siblings of the Sky.”

You can obtain Latios after completing the main Mega Dimension story by initiating a Special Scan. To make Latios Mega Evolve, you’ll need a Latiosite orb, which is earned by finishing Side Mission 189, called ‘Siblings of the Sky’.

You can obtain Magearna by finishing the side quest called “Restarting Magearna” (Side Mission 195). To make Magearna Mega Evolve, you’ll also need the Magearnite orb, which is a reward for completing the same side quest.

4. Zeraora

You can obtain Zeraora by finishing EX Mission 3, called “Raging Lightning.” This mission starts when you create a Plazma-Glazed Donut. To make Zeraora Mega Evolve, you’ll also need a Zeraorite Orb, which is a reward from completing the same mission.

3. Kyogre

You can obtain Groudon by completing Hyperspace Mission 14, called “A Sapphire-Blue Legend.” This mission starts by crafting an Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut. To evolve Groudon into its Primal form, you’ll need a blue orb, which is also a reward from completing Hyperspace Mission 14.

Primal Groudon’s Base Stat Total is 770

You can obtain Groudon by completing Hyperspace Mission 13, called “A Ruby-Red Legend.” This mission starts by crafting an Omega Old-Fashioned Donut. To unlock Groudon’s powerful Primal form, you’ll also need a red orb, which is a reward from completing the same mission.

Mega Rayquaza’s Base Stat Total is 780

Players can obtain Rayquaza by completing Hyperspace Mission 12, “The Greatest Gift,” which begins after crafting a Delta Old-Fashioned Donut. Interestingly, Rayquaza doesn’t require a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve, unlike all other Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
