The Best End-Game Silksong Build for Act 3

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, players encounter seven distinct crests and more than sixty tools to select from, offering numerous build options that might stimulate a great deal of thought. As they advance towards the game’s climax, they may find themselves somewhat overwhelmed by the range of choices, since mastering each tool and determining which combinations work best can necessitate extensive trial and error.

Luckily, we’ve already put in the groundwork and found what we think is an optimal build for Hollow Knight: Silksong. Most of the essential parts for this configuration can be found in Act 2, but the crowning piece can only be obtained in Silksong‘s concluding act. Consequently, this Act 3 or end-game build might not be suitable for players who are just embarking on their journey through Pharloom.

By rephrasing the text, I aimed to maintain the original meaning while making it more readable and conversational.

This build guide for Act 3 of “Silksong” presupposes that players have previously spoken to Eva in the southeastern region of Weavenest Atla, where they acquired both Vesticrests.

What’s the Best Possible Build in Hollow Knight: Silksong? (End-Game Build)

In a simplified version, the optimal build for Silksong involves utilizing the Shaman Crest, an item found in the Ruined Chapel area of Moss Grotto (accessible after unlocking Silk Soar). This Shaman Crest allows players to wield three Silk Skills simultaneously.

One of the Silk Skills that complements the Shaman Crest is the one you acquire by binding Grand Mother Silk’s arm at the top of The Cradle, during Act 3.

For the remaining two openings, players will find it beneficial to use items such as the Phantom Scepter and Sharpdart. The Phantom Scepter can be acquired after defeating the Phantom boss in the Exhaust Organ region of Bilewater, while the Sharpdart can be obtained by interacting with a statue situated behind the Needolin door on the western side of Wormways.

As a seasoned gamer in the captivating world of Pharloom, I’ve found myself in possession of two Vesticrests and have activated Memory Lockets to free up the blue slots on the Shaman Cream. This leaves me with three blue and one yellow slot remaining. The straightforward choice for the yellow slot is apparent – it significantly facilitates navigation throughout Pharloom. The choice for the final blue slot, however, is not so clear-cut. Yet, I can’t help but gravitate towards it, as the electrifying charge it imparts onto Silk Skills transforms my character into a formidable force in this Silksong build, making it truly formidable.

In the final two blue slots, players have some leeway. However, we strongly suggest using the one obtained from defeating the Moss Mothers boss in Weavenest Atla for silk regeneration, and the one from beating the Father of the Flame boss fight in Bellhart for passive damage infliction. Depending on your Spool Fragment collection, you might consider replacing the Wispfire Lantern with another item.

As a passionate player, I’ve found an incredible build that lets me deal an astonishing amount of damage to bosses, largely thanks to the repeated use of shock-infused Silk Skills. Pale Nails take on the brunt of the work, but Sharpdart comes in handy for swiftly maneuvering around enemies and evading attacks. Cross Stitch Silk Skill is particularly useful for parrying. The Compass and Wispfire Lantern are primarily used for navigating the map effectively, though the latter can still prove beneficial during intense boss battles.
