Players are immersed into the expansive Airborne Archipelago, where the mission is to capture and nurture peculiar creatures known as Temtem. This game, crafted by Humble Bundle, bears a resemblance to the popular Pokemon series. Upon signing in, players engage in thrilling battles against formidable dojos using strategic two-on-two combat in a turn-based system.
To achieve the title of the world’s top Temtem trainer, players need to assemble a formidable team. Fortunately, Temtem offers more than one hundred distinct species of Temtem, each with unique characteristics that allow for diverse playstyles. Among these, fire-type Temtem are particularly potent. Although many Temtem possess impressive abilities, some truly shine brightest. Here are some exceptional fire-type Temtem you might encounter in the game.
Fire-based tactics have an advantage over Nature and Crystal types, inflicting substantial harm while taking reduced damage in return. This is because Fire Temet types are resistant to these two categories.
8. Capyre
Overall Stat: 462

- Capyre can be found in the following locations:
- Omninesia: Anak Caldera, Anak Volcano
- Capyre can also be obtained by finding a Banapi and evolving it after 17 levels.
Capyre, a Temtem resembling a fiery-hued fox, boasts a flowing red and gold mane that embodies its character flawlessly. This fire-type Temtem is the ultimate form in the Banapi evolution line, attainable once you’ve leveled up seventeen times.
In comparison to many other fire-type Temtem, Capyre has lower initial stats, but it excels in speed, boasting the fastest speed among all fire Temtem in the game, including base and evolved forms. Additionally, Capyre carries the Resilient trait, enabling it to fall to one HP instead of fainting when pushed beyond its limits or knocked out. Players can discover both Capyre and its predecessor, Banapi, within Anak Caldera and Anak Volcano on Omninesia Island.
7. Aohi
Overall Stat: 461

- Aohi cannot be found and tamed in the wilderness.
- Players can find and tame a Reval in Meadowdale, Arbury, and then evolve it into Aohi after 15 levels.
Hailing from the fusion of Fire and Mental elements in the game Temtem, Aohi is a notable character, particularly excelling in strategies involving Special damage. Sporting a SPATK of 89 and a SPDEF of 79, it’s also reasonably swift with a SPD rating of 71. However, its stamina (STA) and defense (DEF) stats could use some improvement, currently standing at 51 and 46 respectively.
Obtaining Aohi isn’t straightforward because it requires evolution, but this elusive creature boasts two unique abilities: Warm Gift and Ignis Fatuus. The first one inflicts the Burned status on enemy Temtems for three turns. On the other hand, Ignis Fatuus immediately gives Aohi an Evading condition for a turn whenever either an ally or rival Temtem is defeated in battle.
6. Mastione
Overall Stat: 468

- Mastione can be found in the following locations:
- Omninesia: Anak Caldera, Anak Volcano
- Mastione can also be obtained by finding a Magmis and evolving it after 16 levels.
Matione represents the ultimate form of the Temtem known as Magmis. This particular Temtem is a hybrid of fire and water elements, boasting remarkably high ATK stats, decent SPATK and DEF stats. Mastione, on the other hand, is an upright-walking Temtem that resembles a shark in its posture, sporting a fin on its head and a wide, toothy grin. The color scheme of Mastione is predominantly orange and blue, highlighting its fiery demeanor.
Mastione gains proficiency in two exceptionally potent skills: Sharp Rain and Flaming Meteorite. Gamers can acquire Mastione by locating, capturing a Magmis, and advancing it to its evolutionary stage. Typically, Magmis are discovered within Anak Volcano on Omninesia Island.
5. Magmut
Overall Stat: 469

- Magmut cannot be found and tamed in the wilderness.
- Players can find and tame a Mosu in the following locations, and then evolve it into Magmut after 15 levels.
- Arbury: Mac Aed’s Crags, Greenglen Forest
In line with its name resembling that of a mammoth, I am a sturdy unit, Magmut, boasting a substantial health pool (90) and above-par attacking capabilities. My melee combat style makes me an effective force in dishing out physical damage to my adversaries. Furthermore, my fire attribute provides an added layer of safety against rival melee units.
Regarding its unique characteristics, Magmut possesses two distinct abilities: Specgulp and Physgulp. When Magmut is struck by a Special Attack, Specgulp restores 8% of its maximum HP. Similarly, Physgulp heals Magmut by the same percentage if it’s hit by a Physical Attack.
4. Drakash
Overall Stat: 469

- Drakash can be found in the Anak Volcano, Omninesia.
- Drakash can also be obtained by evolving a Pycko after 14 levels.
Due to being originated from Fire and Crystal elements, Drakash sustains only a quarter of the damage inflicted when fighting creatures of these types. Despite having a moderate DEF stat of 49, making it vulnerable to Physical attacks, it boasts an impressive SPATK stat of 86 and a swift SPD stat of 79.
Among Drakash’s characteristics are Heat Discharge and Sentinel. The former ability causes both adversaries to be affected by a Burned status for two turns, while the latter shields Drakash and its accompanying ally from falling asleep while in play. Furthermore, if an ally unit is already under the Asleep condition, introducing Drakash onto the battlefield will promptly eliminate that condition immediately.
3. Vulcrane
Overall Stat: 481

- Vulcrane can be found in the Mines of Mictlan, Tucma.
- Vulcrane can also be obtained by evolving a Vulor after 28 levels.
Vulcrane represents the culmination of Vulor’s evolutionary chain and is the third step in the development of Temtem known as Vulvir. This upright-walking Temtem bears a resemblance to a miniature dinosaur, specifically a raptor or a creature similar to the Pokemon Marowak, due to the stone shield helmet adorning its head.
Vulcrane is a versatile Temtem with solid stats in both Fire and Earth elements, making it competent across multiple areas rather than excelling in one particular skill. This flexibility gives players a variety of options to choose from when strategizing their battles. To acquire Vulcrane, players should search for its pre-evolution forms, Vulvir or Vulor, which are native to Anak Volcano and Anak Culdera on the island of Omninesia.
2. Raican
Overall Stat: 463

- Raican can be found in Altar of the Inner Flame, Omninesia, but players must use a TemCardX to tame it.
- An easier way to acquire Raican is to find and tame a Raize from Anak Volcano or Anak Caldera in Omninesia, and then evolve it into Raican after 25 levels.
- Raize itself is also an evolution of Raiber.
In a more casual and readable manner: Raican is a fire-based Temtem character, modeled like a majestic lion with an impressive red mane. It’s one of the most desired evolutions in the game, being the final form in the Raiber evolution chain. Raican makes an excellent companion for any trainer due to its high HP, ATK, and SPD stats, which can be further enhanced. One unique trait that Raican can acquire is called Motivator. This trait can significantly impact battles as it increases Raican’s ATK, SPD, and SPATK after defeating an opponent’s Temtem.
On top of this, Motivator regenerates a certain amount of stamina for Raican at the start of every round, which significantly increases his danger to enemies during fights as well as encounters in the wilderness. Interestingly, while it’s possible to stumble upon Raican in the wild, players can only capture him by employing a special artifact. If not, they must search for a Raiber or Raize, which are found within Alter of the Inner Flame, and evolve them into Raican once they reach level 25.
1. Anahir
Overall Stat: 423

- Anahir can be found and tamed in Anak Volcano, Omninesia.
In your team, Anahir stands out as an exceptionally uncommon fire-type Temtem, renowned for its robust defenses. As a crystal fire type, Anahir boasts the highest DEF and SPDEF statistics among all Temtem and evolved ones. Abahuir’s body is fortified with a molten core shielded by tough crystal armor adorned with sharp crystals, making it a formidable adversary. Anahir is admired for its tank-like qualities, often proving to be a frustrating foe due to its high defensive stats. It serves as an excellent complement to a powerful offensive Temtem in battle.
There are specific circumstances surrounding Anahir, such as his transformation, Anatan, being accessible solely after fulfilling certain requirements. Specifically, players can evolve Anahir once they have amassed 1,000 TVs. Furthermore, acquiring Anahir isn’t typical; the only guaranteed method to get him is by completing the quest “Adventure in the Myrisles,” which rewards Anahir upon successful completion.
