It’s got three really fun games: Quiplash 3 where we all try to be the funniest with silly prompts, Tee K.O. which is basically a drawing battle, and Trivia Murder Party 2, which is trivia but with a dark and hilarious twist! Seriously, we’ve had some epic nights playing these.
If you and your friends enjoy playing games together in person, TowerFall Ascension, a fast-paced archery platform fighter, and the relaxing climbing game Peak are excellent choices. And for some hilarious, but potentially friendship-ending, fun, try Among Us, where you’ll be figuring out who the imposter is on a spaceship. I’m totally hooked on Pizza Tower! It really reminds me of the classic Wario Land games – it’s a super fast-paced and tough platformer. You’ve gotta be quick and have amazing reflexes to race through each level against the clock. The levels are brilliantly designed and packed with obstacles, demanding pixel-perfect jumps and timing. It’s seriously addictive!
Penny’s Big Breakaway is a 3D platforming game where swinging with a yo-yo feels incredibly dynamic. Gravity Circuit plays like a fast-paced action game inspired by the classic Mega Man series, focusing on close-quarters combat. And Broforce is an over-the-top action platformer packed with tons of playable characters and weapons.

Compared to other role-playing games, Eastward draws inspiration from both EarthBound and the Zelda series, featuring action-oriented, top-down shooting. Indivisible offers a large, explorable world similar to Metroidvania games, combined with turn-based battles. And Undertale is a turn-based RPG that also incorporates fast-paced ‘bullet hell’ challenges.

Lost in Fantaland is a lesser-known game that we hope to bring more attention to. It’s a challenging RPG with roguelike elements, meaning the dungeons change with each playthrough. Before starting, you pick a character class and then explore these randomized dungeons. While you can move around freely, battles are handled using cards – you need them to attack and defend. Between attempts, you can earn rewards to improve your character and become more powerful.
Fans of strategy games might enjoy SteamWorld Heist 2, a 2D pirate adventure similar to XCOM, but featuring robots instead of humans. Metal Slug Tactics blends tactical RPG elements with roguelike gameplay, while The King is Watching is a surprisingly addictive base-building strategy game with roguelike twists – it’s easy to learn but hard to master.
