The game Boktai stands out as an exceptional simulator for vanquishing vampires, but unfortunately, not many people have experienced it. This could be due to the fact that it was a Game Boy Advance title or perhaps because of its unique gameplay mechanism. The game features a solar panel on the cartridge itself, which is used to charge the player’s sun-powered gun. With this charged weapon, players can eliminate a variety of zombies and other nighttime creatures.
In this game, you’ll encounter multiple vampire bosses, and their battles are quite complex. After defeating them initially, your task is to gather the vampire coffins and expose them to sunlight to eliminate them permanently. Time is critical here, so there’s constant danger throughout the process, much like in real-life situations. This intriguing concept was brought to life by Hideo Kojima, a key figure in the development of Metal Gear.
