As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that December 2024 is shaping up to be an interesting month for us gaming enthusiasts. While it may not have the star-studded lineup we’ve grown accustomed to, there are still some hidden gems worth exploring.

2024 has been a bountiful year for video gaming, boasting numerous blockbusters like The Outlast Trials, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Elden Ring’s unique expansion, and a slew of indie games that have garnered acclaim. Yet, the year is far from over, with December still looming. Known for its major releases, December often serves as a prelude to the holiday season, accompanied by numerous sales taking advantage of Christmas shopping. Let’s delve into the highly anticipated video game launches of December 2024!

Every Major Video Game Release in December

To put it simply, this December seems a tad less vibrant compared to past years. There aren’t as many big-name releases to talk about, apart from Delta Force, Marvel Rivals, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Even though I’m eagerly awaiting all three, Caves of Qud is the game that captures my attention this month, and I foresee spending quite a bit more time immersed in it.
