As a long-time gamer and avid fan of both Destiny 2 and The Boys, I am constantly in awe of the creative freedom that Bungie provides us with their game. The ability to tailor my character to reflect my favorite characters from other media is an experience I’ve only encountered in Destiny 2.
A supporter of “The Boys,” Amazon’s popular superhero satire series, constructed a character build in “Destiny 2” reminiscent of Soldier Boy. They accomplished this using diverse shaders and armor sets, some which may pose challenges to obtain. Although not an exact replica, the player skillfully approached portraying a “The Boys” figure within “Destiny 2.”
In Destiny 2, I’m always impressed by the game’s praiseworthy gunplay, breathtaking graphics, and formidable boss battles. Yet, what truly sets it apart is the vast creative liberty it grants players to shape their unique gaming experience. With three primary classes – Warlock, Hunter, and Titan – as a starting point, there’s an extensive array of subclasses waiting to be explored. Moreover, the freedom extends beyond class choices with an impressive arsenal of weapons and customizable abilities at our disposal.
Reddit user iixVanquishxX posted some pictures on Reddit showcasing their Titan in Destiny 2, which was modeled after Soldier Boy from The Boys. The player effectively utilized certain shaders and armor parts to bring the Soldier Boy character to life within the game. Introduced during season 3 of The Boys, Soldier Boy is an extremely powerful figure portrayed by Jensen Ackles. Despite his blunt demeanor and abrasive communication style, he gained a significant following among fans of the show.
Destiny 2 Player Shows Off The Boys-Inspired Build
In this character setup for “Destiny 2,” the top item is a Ringwalker Helm of rare Verdant Chrome finish. For arms, the Enduring Conqueror Gauntlets with a Lubraean Luxury finish are employed. The bottom piece is an Exotic Reticule Lock with an Iron to Steel finish. In “Destiny 2,” items are categorized into distinct rarity levels, with exotic being the most rare. Additionally, the player incorporates a Default Ornament and a Thunderhead Mark into their build.
According to the source material, “The Boys” debuted on Amazon Prime in 2019, soon gaining popularity among viewers and making history as one of Amazon’s most successful original series. With the conclusion of season 4, fans have been left eagerly anticipating what’s next for this acclaimed show. Though specifics about the future are scarce, creator Eric Kripke has confirmed that season 5 will mark the end of “The Boys” storyline. Meanwhile, “Destiny 2” players are fully engrossed in The Final Shape, the latest expansion for the game. Boasting fresh content, formidable new adversaries, and significant narrative progressions, The Final Shape is an addition to “Destiny 2” that no fan should skip.
