Subsequently, he embarked on a quest to find his biological father, the villainous Maerlyn. It was from this point that his journey as a nomadic figure commenced, eventually earning him the nickname ‘Walkin’ Dude’.

Walter adopted and refined his father’s forbidden magical practices, eventually becoming proficient in dark sorcery. He might have been taught these skills by his father himself, and he made use of many of his father’s relics, such as Maerlyn’s Rainbow orbs.
