Without much fanfare, it’s been officially unveiled: Bethesda Softworks in partnership with Virtuos has launched “The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered”. Now available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC for $49.99, while the Deluxe Edition can be purchased for $59.99. Take a look at the unveiling trailer below and the live stream detailing all the upgrades here.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that this remaster has been meticulously rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5 from the ground up, with every single asset being recreated. It boasts fresh dialogue lines, an overhauled combat system, stunning new lighting effects, and numerous other enhancements. The cherry on top? You can now sprint freely, as character locomotion has been entirely reimagined! Yet, rest assured, Virtuos has ensured that the original’s unique charm remains intact, preserving the eerie dialogue, mini-games, and all the elements that made it special.
Apart from its numerous features, this version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered comes equipped with all its Downloadable Content (DLC), such as the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions. What’s more, you can access this remastered game through Game Pass on PC, consoles, or cloud platforms. Keep an eye out for further information about the remaster!
