Is it possible that the Steam Deck can smoothly run Bethesda’s latest title, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered? To test this out, we installed the remastered version onto Valve’s portable console. Regrettably, the game suggests setting all settings to low for acceptable performance. In caves, you can expect 40 – 60 frames per second, while open-world gameplay may drop below 30 fps. If you adjust any settings beyond medium, our system crashes.
