I stumbled upon a new quest called “The Enemy Within” while exploring in *Ghost of Yotei*. I found this guy, Goemon, at the Kamikawa Trading Post – it’s up north, east of the Teshio River and above the Sakuru Woods. He’s supposed to be bringing goods from the Mainland to Ezo, but when I met him, he had *nothing* to sell! He said his delivery was supposed to come through the northwestern passage three days ago, but I could tell something was wrong. Basically, he needs my help to recover his lost merchandise. So, I took the quest, and now I’m diving into “The Enemy Within” side quest!

In *Ghost of Yotei*, you can find Goemon’s missing supplies by following the road that leads Atsu to the east side of the Kamikawa Trading Post. The quest is clearly marked on your map, making it easy to find.

Atsu needs to stay on the road, as she’ll discover the bodies of Goemon’s missing suppliers along the way. The scent of spices will help her track down the lost supplies in *Ghost of Yotei*.

Okay, so I need to keep following the road – it leads right into an ambush! Three Nine Tails guys are hiding in the trees, and they’re gonna start shooting arrows at Atsu. I gotta take them out of the picture *fast* before I can even think about searching for those missing supplies in *Ghost of Yotei*.

Once you’ve beaten the Nine Tails, head to where they were. You’ll find a small chest hidden behind a large rock. Opening it will allow Atsu to discover the remaining supplies that belonged to Goemon, as seen in *Ghost of Yotei*.

When you bring the missing supplies back, you won’t find Goemon at the Kamikawa Trading Post. Atsu suspects something is wrong and asks the other merchants where he is, but they all act strangely – as if they don’t know who Goemon is. This makes Atsu question what’s going on.

First, ask around at the shops about Goemon. Then, go to the small, isolated house on the left side of the Kamikawa Trading Post – you’ll hear Goemon calling for help. Talk to the merchant guarding the shack, which will trigger another attack by Nine Tails enemies. After you defeat them, speak with Goemon and give him the supplies he needs to finish ‘The Enemy Within’ quest in *Ghost of Yotei*.
