As a PC gamer, I’m seeing reports everywhere that the Epic Games Store is having major problems today, November 26th. It’s a big deal because Epic has really been trying to compete with Steam, and they’ve done it by offering exclusive games and, honestly, just giving away tons of freebies to get people on their platform.
With so many users – hundreds of millions, in fact – it’s no surprise people are frustrated when the Epic Games Store has problems. Right now, the store is experiencing an outage, preventing users from accessing all of its features.
We’re still figuring out how many people are affected, but thousands of Epic Games Store users have reported problems with the launcher on Down Detector. It seems to be working for me, but there are enough reports to suggest a significant issue. It looks like the problems with the Epic Games Store are also impacting Epic’s games, including the popular game Fortnite, which is currently unavailable.
Is the Epic Games Store Down Right Now?

Players are still experiencing login problems with Fortnite, as well as issues with games like Rocket League and Fall Guys. Epic Games is working to fix problems with the Epic Games Store as quickly as possible. While things are down, Epic Games Store users should remember to check back later to claim the current free games, and again on November 27th when new free games are added.
