The narrative will revolve around Zora Bennett, portrayed by Scarlett Johansson, who is hired by a pharmaceutical company to retrieve DNA from crucial dinosaur species. This DNA will be used to create life-saving medicine for humans. Accompanying Zora on this venture are Captain Duncan Kincaid (Ali) and Dr. Henry Loomis (Bailey), a paleontologist who finds himself in over his head during the daring expedition. Director Colin Trevorrow describes the trio as less of a love triangle and more of a contest to determine who is the dominant figure within the group.
