Vampire Survivors is typically viewed as a game that doesn’t demand heavy involvement from the player. The general gameplay loop involves choosing weapons, killing enemies, upgrading, and repeating this process. However, players aiming to unlock all achievements may find some requiring additional strategic thinking and planning.

In this widely acclaimed indie game by Poncle, fresh players continue to join, leaving one to ponder about the game’s challenge level. While most of the achievements in Vampire Survivors can be unlocked through regular gameplay, some are linked to hidden items and upgrade combinations that aren’t immediately apparent. It is these particular achievements that prove the hardest to acquire in Vampire Survivors.

In the updates for Vampire Survivors since version 1.0, they’ve only incorporated achievements that focus on enhancing or advancing new weapons and uncovering unique secrets individually. Unlike the base game, which offers more comprehensive cumulative achievements, these DLC achievements are not included in this list.

11. Victory Sword

One Versus One Hundred Thousand

Requirement: Defeat 100,000 enemies in a single run with Queen Sigma

Achieving this milestone primarily revolves around unlocking Queen Sigma, a task that stands independently as an achievement. Once you have her in your roster, the challenge of slaying 100,000 enemies during a single run becomes less formidable. Notably, defeating this number of foes grants you access to their starting weapon, the Victory Sword, which can be utilized by other characters.

The Victory Sword boasts a powerful melee strike, capable of dealing damage even to intangible foes in Gallo Tower, Dairy Plant, and the Bone Zone. Uniquely, it possesses this property. However, it does come with a challenging prerequisite, but securing it is not overly difficult once the conditions are met.

10. Omni

Evolutions And Curses

Requirement: Get Torrona’s Box to level 9
Reward: Omni (powerup)

Achieving this goal becomes more challenging because it requires obtaining all six advanced weapons simultaneously first. After managing that, the players must be patient and wait for the Torrona’s Box option to show up among their available upgrades.

As I advance this versatile skill, it amplifies all my stats by a solid 4% initially, with an additional 3% boost per level. To unlock the Omni accomplishment, I need to elevate this passive to level 9. However, achieving this milestone also triggers the item’s curse. This curse significantly amplifies enemy speed, health, quantity, and frequency by a whopping 100%. Given this, it would be wiser for me to discard Torrona’s Box as soon as I’ve secured the achievement, or else I might find myself in a precarious situation due to being rapidly overpowered.

9. Skip 5

Boss Rush Survival

Requirement: Survive 15 minutes in Boss Rash
Reward: Skip +2

In the game Vampire Survivors, surviving for a while in a stage may not be the most difficult task. However, conquering the Boss Rash map could well be the hardest challenge to accomplish if one aims to achieve the “Skip 5” milestone and unlock that particular achievement.

One of the most awe-inspiring bosses you’ll encounter in Vampire Survivors is known as The Ender, who emerges when players have survived for 30 minutes within Capella Magna. To battle this boss, you must first defeat another boss that appears at the 25-minute mark, Trinacria, as well.

In Capella Magna, players require a substantial amount of power to endure for long periods. As such, they’ll probably be able to measure up against The Ender with minimal complications, and will earn the “Game Killer” achievement as a result. It’s worth noting that The Ender is one of the few bosses that compel players to strategically employ their movement skills to dodge its larger attacks consistently.

6. Tiny Bridge

The secret to defeating it is quite straightforward. If players avoid its area during leveling, they won’t activate its power to absorb other monsters. This makes it convenient to return to the boss with a character that has been strengthened and defeat it swiftly, earning the “Forbidden Scrolls” achievement“.

4. Seal (1, 2 & 3)

For each phase of the progression, the reward is an enhancement to the Seal attribute. This feature offers a menu option that lets players remove options from their level-up selections for the next playthrough.
