The Haunted Floating Festival Event Puzzles In DDV

A new, spooky island has appeared in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it will only be available from October 22nd to November 11th, 2025. Players will have time to gather everything they need and, most importantly, solve the puzzles found throughout the Haunted Floating Festival in the game. Keep in mind that some puzzles won’t be available right away – you’ll unlock them over a few days.

The Haunted Floating Festival In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley

The 2025 Halloween event in Dreamlight Valley (DDV) will take place at the Haunted Floating Festival. Players will need to travel there to complete it, though you might need to return to the main valley to solve some puzzles along the way.

To reach the Haunted Floating Festival island, find Merlin in The Plaza – he’ll show you the teleport portal. You can also teleport directly from the event tab in the main menu. To finish the festival and get the rewards, you’ll need to solve all the puzzles. Three puzzles are available right away, and more will unlock as you progress.

How To Solve Ghostly Critter Puzzle In DDV

In the DDV game, to complete the Ghostly Critter puzzle, you need to give the blue Fox a Haunted Skeleton Fish. You can find this fish – the Fox’s favorite food – spawning close to Zero’s house, between the two large trees that have door knobs. Successfully feeding the Fox will give you a memory orb, which unlocks a part of a memory.

To unlock the complete memory, you need to continue feeding the blue Fox, Zero, for three days. Once the memory is fully restored, you’ll need to find and dig up a golden spot to obtain the Clawed Foot Tub furniture. Based on what we’ve seen so far, this dig spot is probably located near the haunted mansion on the island.

How To Solve Combination Pillar Puzzle In DDV

To solve the Combination Pillar puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to interact with the items in this order: Spiderweb, then Bat, then Witch Hat, and finally Cat. You’ll find four spaces around the Haunted Floating Island where you can enter this combination.

Each tile shows a picture and a certain number of pumpkins. To solve the pillar puzzle, you need to match each picture with its corresponding pumpkin count and roll the dice in the correct sequence. Successfully completing this puzzle in DDV will earn you the Haunted Festival Dress.

How To Solve Terror-rific Tree Puzzle In DDV

To complete the puzzle in the Deep Dark Vale (DDV), players need to collect and offer 20 Haunted Crow Feathers, 15 Haunted Skeleton Fish, and 10 Haunted White Roses to the Terror-rific Tree.

You’ll find this information in a book located near the headless statue behind the Howling Tree. Here are instructions for getting each item:

Black Feather: One Haunted Crow Feather spawns every 10 minutes near the scarecrow in the corner of the island next to the pumpkin crops. (Max 3)

Bony Fish: One Haunted Skeleton Fish spawns every 10 minutes near Zero’s house beside the two trees. (Max 3)

Pale Bloom: One Haunted White Rose spawns every 15 minutes near the haunted mansion, close to the combination pillar puzzle. (Max 3)

You might find Roses growing near the piano, just outside the mansion’s fence, so don’t forget to look there. If you collect all the necessary items for the Terror-rific Tree, you’ll unlock it as a decorative furniture piece in DDV.
