Once you reach Act 3 in *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, Hornet can get new quests from Bellhart by visiting his Wishwall. The Hidden Hunter Quest In Silksong
Once you accept the Hidden Hunter quest from Bellhart’s Wishwall, you’ll learn the boss stole something from Gilly near the Bellshrine between Deep Docks and Far Fields – and that’s where he was last seen. If you search around the Bellshrine in Far Fields, you can find a trail that leads directly to the boss.
The Hidden Hunter Location In Silksong
The Hidden Hunter boss is located in a locked part of Far Fields. You can reach this area by learning the Silk Soar skill in *Silksong*. This skill lets Hornet create a bridge from Hunter’s March, giving you access to the areas above in Far Fields and allowing you to explore further.
If you haven’t unlocked that area yet, head to the Marrow and then to Hunter’s March, but avoid using the Deep Docks shortcuts.
During Act 3, the only way to reach Hunter’s March is through the Marrow – all other paths are closed off.
Next, head to the statues at the end of Hunter’s March and use the Super Jump to reach the new area. Once you’re in the upper part of Far Fields, you’ll find a path that leads directly to the Hidden Hunter location in *Silksong*.
If you’ve been to this area before, perhaps while completing quests like ‘Fastest In Pharloom’ in *Silksong*, you can reach it using the Pilgrim’s Rest shortcut. However you get there, you’ll find tracks and traps to guide you. The final track is actually a trap that drops you right to the boss’s arena.
If you fall for their trick, you’ll face Gurr the Outcast, a challenging boss. Gurr’s movements are predictable, but they leave behind dangerous spikes as they move, making it harder to dodge. While you’re navigating these obstacles, Gurr can move freely around the arena. If you learn Gurr’s pattern and time your attacks carefully, you’ll defeat them and progress towards completing the Hidden Hunter Grand Hunt Wish in *Silksong*.
Once you defeat Gurr the Outcast as Hornet, head to the left side of the area to locate the Grass Doll. Then, return to Bellhart and deliver the Grass Doll to complete the Hidden Hunter quest in *Silksong*.
